Weather Alert: The heat of June and July is felt in May, so the temperature level is recorded above 40 degrees Celsius in many cities. The scorching sun in many areas of North India has made life difficult for the people. The weather may deteriorate once again in Bihar, UP and Uttarakhand, due to which heavy rain and storms may occur.

The situation will also not be clear in the northeastern states. The weather here can disturb life. The weather will also likely deteriorate in the capital,  Delhi, and surrounding areas. People got relief from the heat due to rain and thunderstorms in some southern states late at night. The Indian Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain and storms in many states of the country.

Rain will become a disaster in these states.

If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, a period of rain with thunder and storm can be seen in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Gilgit-Baltistan. Given the possibility of lightning, caution is expected. Moderate rain and strong winds are likely in Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand until May 6.

A warning of rain with intense storms was issued in Uttarakhand, Jammu, and Kashmir on May 4. Thunderstorms and hail are also expected in the country’s capital, Delhi, on Saturday night and Sunday. Lightning and strong winds are expected here. Cloudy weather is expected in many areas of Delhi-NCR till May 6.

Rain will occur in these parts, including UP and Rajasthan.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain with thunder till May 6 in many states, including Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Dust storm is expected in Rajasthan till May 5. A warning about thunderstorms with heavy rain has been issued in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, and Central Maharashtra. Apart from these, rain with thunder is expected in Marathwada till May 8.

Rain in the southern states, too

If IMD is to be believed, there is a possibility of rain in many states of South India. Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala may witness rain and thundershowers. According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of rain and thunder showers will be issued for the next 7 days in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and surrounding areas. Rainmay also be available in Puducherry, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Mizoram.
