Honor 400 and 400 Pro gets 3C certification: Honor is preparing to release its next-generation smartphones, Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro—in May. Before making their official launch, both smartphones have surfaced on several certification websites. Accompanying the certifications, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some important specifications that suggest premium offerings for both devices.

Honor 400 gets 3C certification

A new Honor phone with model number DNN-AN00 has been certified by China’s 3C authority. This model is speculated to be the regular Honor 400. The certification indicates that it will support 80W fast charging. Although Honor has not officially announced these details yet, the appearance on the certification platform means the device is nearing its release time frame.

Honor 400 Pro receives 3C certification

Another Honor phone with model number DNP-AN00 has also passed the 3C certification process. The model is set to be the flagship Honor 400 Pro. The listing indicates support for 90W fast charging, which indicates an upgrade over the base model. With speedy charging speeds and flagship positioning, the Pro model is expected to find favor among power users.

Honor 400 and 400 Pro leaked specifications

The Honor 400 tips are said to offer a flat 6.55-inch OLED LTPS with a resolution of 1.5K. Compared to the Honor 400 Pro will arrive with a quad-curved edged 6.7-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED screen for that even better viewing experience.

The Honor 400 can have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 or Gen 4 chip, whereas the Pro model is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Both devices will come with a 200MP main camera, and the Pro variant will also feature a 50MP telephoto lens. The other features will include a metal frame, thin design, and new-generation silicon-based batteries, likely around the 7,000mAh capacity.

Expected build and design quality

The Honor 400 series should strike a balance between form and durability. With a lightweight but robust metal body and ultra-thin form factor, both phones should offer a premium feel in the hand. Silicon-based battery technology could assist in maximizing battery life while ensuring an overall compact size.

Charging speed is a key upgrade

One of the most apparent improvements across the Honor 400 line is fast charging. The 80W support for the standard model and 90W for the Pro model should greatly cut down on downtime. These improvements could be a game-changer for consumers who enjoy rapid power boosts on hectic days.
