Indian Economy: Saurabh Mukherjee, founder of market expert and portfolio management service firm Marselus Investment Managers, has made a scary prediction about India’s economy. He has said that the middle class of the country will replace automation and AI in place.

According to Saurabh Mukherjee, the story of India’s middle class may end. India has entered a new economic phase. During this time, a salary job is expected to end in the country gradually as a meaningful opportunity.

Job structure is no longer durable: expert

In a podcast, Mukherjee said, “It seems that the biggest thing of this decade will be that the job for the largest salary class will end. The job for educated and hardworking people can gradually end. The old model in which our parents used to work in the same company for 30 years, that too is not ending. The structure of the middle class of India is no longer dying.”

He further said that it is most likely that the working middle class should be replaced by automation and AI. The work that was being done by the white-collar employees earlier is now being done by AI. Google is saying that one -third of its coding is already being done with the help of AI. The same is going to happen in IT, media and finance sector.

However, he said that despite this ups and down, the combination of Jam Trinity i.e. Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and mobile will create many job opportunities in the future.
