PM Kisan Yojana: Big news for farmers. The Agriculture Department has started the Farmer Registry so that the farmers of the district can get the benefits of government schemes on time and easily. In the first phase of the scheme, two revenue villages from different areas of the district have been selected. Farmers will be registered in these villages, and they will be given a digital farmer ID.
This ID will be similar to Aadhaar; it will contain the complete details of the farmer
The process of registration of farmers in the district has already started and will soon start in the entire district. At the same time, an implementation team has also been formed at the block level, which will coordinate with the farmers and monitor the registry process.
BDO and CO will be the chairpersons of this team. Apart from this, Mukhiya and other public representatives have been included in this process so that they can communicate with the farmers. First of all, farmer IDs will be made for the eligible beneficiary farmers. According to the information received from the Agriculture Department office, in the villages selected in the first phase, farmer IDs will be made mainly for the beneficiary farmers of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This ID will also be used for other schemes.
The District Digital Agriculture Cell has been formed for the successful implementation of the scheme and to resolve land-related problems of the farmers. In this, the DM has been made the chairman, the Additional Collector as the Nodal Officer, the District Agriculture Officer as the Member Secretary, and the DIO, DPRO, CLR, and Assistant Directors of the Agriculture Department as the members. This cell will solve the problems of the farmers and help in running the work of the Farmer Registry smoothly.
These documents are mandatory
District Agriculture Officer Alok Kumar said that many important documents will be required for the Kisan Card. This includes the farmer’s Aadhaar card, registered mobile number (the mobile number must be linked to Aadhaar), email ID, land papers, land survey report with survey number mentioned in it, etc.
