Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Oppo is reviving its flagship Ultra model with the Find X8 Ultra, and although it is not rolling out worldwide, it’s certainly generating excitement in the tech world. The phone has now officially gone live on China’s TENAA certification website, providing us with a full overview of its design and internal hardware. The Find X8 Ultra, going on sale on April 10 in China, is likely to take the place of the Find X7 Ultra and appears more than capable of sporting the ‘Ultra’ moniker with pride.

Design and Build – Sleek, Flat, and Premium
As compared to the Find X7 Ultra, which boasted a more unique curved screen, the new Find X8 Ultra features a flat OLED screen and a more symmetrical look. The round camera module rests atop a flat glass back with a metal frame, providing a clean yet elegant appearance. Oppo is introducing new colors as well Starry Black, Moonlight White, and Morning Light.
Moreover, the phone is rated IP68/69 against water and dust, and it’s likely to come with magnetic wireless charging, a feature that may be directly included in the phone instead of being supported by a case. Oppo is also launching a new Action Button-like physical shortcut button, making the phone more functional.
Display and Performance – Ultra Clarity, Ultra Power
The Find X8 Ultra comes with a 6.82-inch flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3168 x 1440 resolution. It also comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the display for faster and more secure unlocking.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, an upgrade over the MediaTek processors of the Find X8 and X8 Pro. It will be offered in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB, with a special edition featuring satellite communication and an enormous 1TB storage coupled with 16GB RAM.
Camera Setup – A True Photography Beast
Oppo is upping its photography game by adding five cameras on the back. The main one is a 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with OIS, and that’s supported by a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, a 50MP Sony LYT-700 3x periscope lens, a second 50MP Sony LYT-600 6x periscope, and a 2MP sensor. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera with the promise of top-notch image quality on all fronts.
Battery and Software – Power That Lasts
The Find X8 Ultra comes with a massive 6,100 mAh battery, much bigger than the previous model. It will have 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging, guaranteeing users get both longevity and speed. The phone will have Android 15 pre-installed with ColorOS on top, offering a clean and updated user experience.
Launch Details
Oppo will reportedly launch the Find X8 Ultra along with the Find X8s and X8s+ on April 10 in China. Although a global launch isn’t scheduled, the features and specs indicate that this might be one of the most powerful Android phones of 2025.
