Kia Motors has launched the updated version of its popular SUV, Kia Seltos, in the Indian market for the 2025 model year. Its starting ex-showroom price ranges from ₹ 11.13 lakh to ₹ 20.50 lakh. There has been no change in the exterior look of the SUV in this update, but with new variants and additional features, customers now have more options to choose from. Now available in 24 variants

Kia has now introduced this popular SUV with eight new variants in both petrol and diesel engine options. With this, the total variant count of Seltos has now increased to 24. These new variants include three new trims – HTE (O), HTK (O), and HTK+ (O), giving customers the freedom to choose according to different budgets and feature requirements.

HTE (O) Variants

The new HTE (O) variant now comes with an 8-inch touchscreen system with Bluetooth connectivity and a six-speaker audio system. Apart from this, it also gets steering-mounted audio controls, LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), and Connected LED Tail Lights, making it an attractive option even at the entry-level.

HTK (O) Variant

The HTK (O) variant runs on 16-inch alloy wheels and gets premium features like a Rear Wiper, Washer and Defogger, Roof Rails, Mood Lamp, Cruise Control, and a Panoramic Sunroof. Apart from this, it also has a Smart Key with a Motion Sensor, which makes it even more convenient. This variant is a powerful option for customers who want premium features at an affordable price.

HTK+ (O) Variant

The HTK+ (O) variant comes with LED headlights with sequential LED turn signals, LED fog lamps, auto-folding ORVMs (auto-folding outside rear view mirrors), and a mood lamp. It also gets a smart key with a motion sensor from the lower HTK (O) variant, but it runs on 17-inch alloy wheels, which gives it a more stylish and powerful look.

Engine and Transmission Options

There are no changes to the engine and transmission options of the 2025 Seltos. This SUV is available with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine as before, with a choice of 6-speed manual or CVT. Moreover, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine is available with a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT, and the 1.5-litre diesel engine comes with a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Customers still have the option to choose a powerful engine and a smooth transmission as per their driving preferences and needs.
