Haryana Railway stations: Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, important steps are being taken towards the modernization of railway stations. After the redevelopment of 15 stations of Bikaner division, now 7 big stations of Haryana will be modernized.

These stations include Loharu, Mandi Adampur, Raisinghnagar, Hansi, Kalanwali, Bhattu and Anupgarh. The tender amount has also been approved for these stations. Under this project, the station buildings will be reconstructed, which will provide better facilities to the passengers.

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the aim of Indian Railways is to provide better travel experience to the passengers. Under this scheme, apart from station buildings, facilities like platforms, waiting rooms, toilets, water arrangements, elevators, escalators and pamphlets will be improved.

Apart from this, modern architecture, green technologies will be used to decorate the stations keeping in mind the environmental aspects. The main objective of this scheme is to make all major stations smart, so that passengers can get the highest level of service in terms of safety,

cleanliness and amenities

cleanliness and amenities. This project will be implemented at about 1300 railway stations across the country. The Railway Ministry has improved the contracting process to speed up the pace of this project and plans to complete the work as soon as possible.
