Any worker in India can apply for an e-shram card. The age limit for application for this is 16 to 59 years. How to get an e-ashram card

E-ashram cards can be made both online and offline, but we are going to tell you the easy process of getting an e-shram card through online mediums:

The online process to get e-shram card

  1. Go to the e-Shram portal (https://eshram.gov.in/).
  2. Click on the “REGISTER on eShram” option on the home page.
  3. After this a new page will open, where you have to enter the mobile number linked to Aadhaar and the captcha code.
  4. Answer yes or no in the information of active members of EPFO, ESIC.
  5. After this the OTP verification process has to be completed.
  6. Then you have to give your address and education-related information.
  7. Select the name of the skill, type of business, and type of work.
  8. Enter bank details and choose the self-declaration option.
  9. After this click on the ‘Submit’ button.

An OTP will be sent to the mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Verify’ button. After this, the e-Shram card will be generated, which can be downloaded.

The following documents will be required to get e-Shram card:

Aadhaar card linked to mobile number

Valid bank account number

Insurance protection along with pension

E-Shram cardholders will get the following benefits:

Pension of ₹ 3000 per month after the age of 60 under Pradhan Mantri Mandhan Yojana.

Financial assistance of ₹ 1,00,000 in case of partial disability.

Death insurance of ₹ 2,00,000 in case of death.
