How to get an e-ashram card
E-ashram cards can be made both online and offline, but we are going to tell you the easy process of getting an e-shram card through online mediums:
The online process to get e-shram card
- Go to the e-Shram portal (https://eshram.gov.in/).
- Click on the “REGISTER on eShram” option on the home page.
- After this a new page will open, where you have to enter the mobile number linked to Aadhaar and the captcha code.
- Answer yes or no in the information of active members of EPFO, ESIC.
- After this the OTP verification process has to be completed.
- Then you have to give your address and education-related information.
- Select the name of the skill, type of business, and type of work.
- Enter bank details and choose the self-declaration option.
- After this click on the ‘Submit’ button.
An OTP will be sent to the mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Verify’ button. After this, the e-Shram card will be generated, which can be downloaded.

The following documents will be required to get e-Shram card:
Aadhaar card linked to mobile number
Valid bank account number

Insurance protection along with pension
E-Shram cardholders will get the following benefits:
Pension of ₹ 3000 per month after the age of 60 under Pradhan Mantri Mandhan Yojana.
Financial assistance of ₹ 1,00,000 in case of partial disability.
Death insurance of ₹ 2,00,000 in case of death.
