Underwater train service connecting India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to launch soon!
According to media reports, an underwater train service connecting India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to launch soon, facilitating easier travel between the two nations. This project is expected to be completed by 2030 and will feature a 1,200-mile (approximately 2,000 km) underwater rail line linking India and Dubai, promising an adventurous journey. Passengers will have the unique opportunity to view the underwater world during their trip; however, it may pose challenges for those with claustrophobia.
This initiative aims to enhance transportation links between India and Dubai
Proposed by the UAE’s National Advisor Bureau Limited, this initiative aims to enhance transportation links between India and Dubai. In addition to passenger travel, the trains will also enable the swift transport of crude oil and other goods, thereby strengthening trade relations between the two countries. The train is projected to operate at speeds ranging from 600 to 1,000 kilometers per hour, allowing the journey from Mumbai to Dubai to be completed in just two hours, making it faster than air travel.
When the project may complete
Travelers can anticipate a wide range of amenities designed to enhance their experience throughout the duration of their journey. This initiative is projected to attract billions of dollars in investments, and contingent upon receiving the necessary approvals, it is expected to reach completion by the year 2030. Currently, the project is still in the evaluation phase, awaiting further consideration and decision-making.
