Rain alert in these states
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain with strong winds has been issued in many states. Additionally, heavy rain and thunder warnings have been issued in Central Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, and Marathwada. At the same time, heavy rains can be seen in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, coastal Karnataka, the south interior Karnataka and coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Yanam has issued a warning of light rain till April 1. A severe heat wave can be seen in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, South Jharkhand and West Bengal until March 30. Apart from this, a heat wave can be seen in the coastal parts of Gujarat from March 30 to April 1.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds in the northwest Indian states of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. A drop in temperature can also be seen here.
