How much will the salary of central employees increase?

As soon as the 8th Pay Commission is implemented, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of central employees. The salary will increase according to the fitment factor. If the fitment factor remains 2.57, the minimum wage will increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 46,260. The minimum pension will become Rs 23,130 after an increase of Rs 9000. This will be considered a bumper increase in salary.

According to this, an increase of Rs 28,260 in the minimum salary will be a significant gift. Now everyone is just waiting for the formation of the 8th Pay Commission committee, after which the review work will start.

How much will the increase in DA be?

It is believed that the DA of central employees will also increase by up to 2 percent, due to which the salary will jump like a cheetah. After this, the DA of the employees will increase to 55 percent. At present, central employees are receiving a 53 percent DA benefit. The rates of DA increase will be considered applicable from January 1, 2025. Anyway, DA is increased twice every year. Its rates are considered effective from January and July 1.
