Haryana Electric Bus: A good news has come from the textile city of Panipat. Here the Roadways Department is going to get the gift of 45 electric buses next month. A plan has been made to run these buses in the city as well as the villages of the district, adjoining cities and Shamli of UP. Routes have been prepared for the operation of these buses. While the operation of electric buses will provide better transport facilities to the passengers, on the other hand it will help in reducing environmental pollution.
Haryana Electric Bus
At present, there are 5 electric buses in the Panipat Roadways Depot, which are being operated from the new bus stand located in Siwah to the toll plaza. The operation of these buses has made the movement of passengers in the city easier. There is a proposal to include 45 more electric buses in the depot. These buses will reach Panipat Rohtak Depot by the end of next month.
New routes of electric buses
Siwah to Ansal City: This bus has 16 stops from Nangal Kheri, Anaaj Mandi, Gohana Road and Sector 13-17.
Old Bus Stand to Samalkha: The bus going from Old Bus Stand to Samalkha has 21 stops including Police Line, Machhrauli, Geeta College, Civil Hospital Samalkha, Manana and Jaurasi village.
Old Bus Stand to Saundhapur: On this route, the bus has been fixed to stop at many places including Jatal village, Sutana village.
Old Bus Stand to Israna: On this route, the bus has been fixed to stop at Dahar village, Naultha village and Didwari mode etc.
Old Bus Stand to Safidon: This bus has been fixed to stop at 17 places including Assandh Road, Saudapur village, Khukharana village, Thermal, Untla, Bhalsi, Matalouda and Nara village.
Old Bus Stand to Gharaunda: On this route, stops have been fixed at many places including GT Road Toll, Shimla Maulana Village, Bohli Village, Babarpur.
