Lado Protsahan Yojana: Under the Lado Protsahan Yojana in Rajasthan, the government has announced a financial support of Rs 1.5 lakh for daughters; however, this amount will only be accessible once they reach the age of 21.
Allocated Rs 7.5 crore as the initial installment
The Women Empowerment Department has allocated Rs 7.5 crore as the initial installment for 30,000 daughters. In this first installment, Rs 2,500 will be credited to the mother’s account upon the birth of a daughter. The full provision of Rs 1.5 lakh is set to commence on April 1.
Chief Minister announced the increase of the saving bond amount
As per the department’s plans, an additional amount of Rs 50,000 will be disbursed as the final installment, which will be released only after the daughter completes her graduation or turns 21. On International Women’s Day, March 8, the Chief Minister announced the increase of the saving bond amount to Rs 1.5 lakh under the Laado Protsahan Yojana.
Chief Minister initiated financial assistance
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, various programs will be held statewide from March 25 to 31 as part of the Rajasthan Day celebrations. During this period, numerous benefits will be provided to farmers, youth, women, and the underprivileged. In this context, the Chief Minister initiated financial assistance through various schemes at the Mahila Sammelan event in Barmer, where he also transferred direct funds (DBT) to the accounts of women and girls.
