UP Police Constable Final Cut Off: The final result of 60,244 constable recruitment released by Uttar Pradesh Police is an important step. A total of 48,17,441 youth had applied in this recruitment, and now the list of all those candidates has been released. This time the cutoff of recruitment was relatively high, especially for the unreserved category, the cutoff has gone above 225 marks.
According to preliminary data:
12,937 candidates have been successful in the general category.
32,052 candidates have been successful in the OBC category, while 16,264 posts were applied for.
14,026 candidates have been successful in Scheduled Caste (SC), while 12,650 posts were applied for.
1,229 candidates have been successful in Scheduled Tribe (ST), while 1,204 posts were applied for.
Among the female candidates, 12,048 have been selected.
The recruitment process was quite challenging this time, and the increase in the cutoff indicates that the level of the exam was also high. This is a great achievement for the selected candidates, and now they are ready to serve as constables in UP Police.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the list of candidates selected under Direct Recruitment-2023 for 60,244 posts of Constable Civil Police. This selection has been done after successful completion of written examination, scrutiny of records, physical standard test (PMT) and physical efficiency test (PST). The selection has been done on the basis of merit of normalized scores obtained in the selection process, as well as according to the vertical and horizontal rules of reservation.
The final selection list and related notification can be seen on the official website of UP Police Recruitment Board https://uppbpb.gov.in.
The UP Police Recruitment Board has clarified that the merit list has been prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination, and the physical test was only qualifying, it has no effect in the selection. Apart from this, the UP Police Recruitment Board has not prepared any waiting list.
If two or more candidates get the same marks, then preference will be given in selection to those candidates who have one or more of the following certificates or experience:
1. NCC B certificate
2. DOEACC O level certificate
3. Two years experience in Territorial Army
If candidates with equal marks do not have any of these, then the candidate with higher age will be placed higher in the merit.
