The accused was having fun for the last few days in a hotel in Haridwar by posing as the personal secretary (PA) of former BCCI secretary and current ICC chairman Jay Shah. The accused Amarinder is a resident of Firozpur in Punjab. The accused was enjoying the hotel stay and other facilities by cheating.

According to reports, a fake BCCI ID card has also been recovered from the accused. The card also had pictures of Jai Shah and Amarinder. The accused was making many illegal demands in the hotel. Apart from this, he was also holding suspicious meetings.
The hotel staff became suspicious of the accused. After this, the police was informed about the matter. In the police investigation, the man turned out to be a fraudster.

Police has informed that the accused Amarinder Singh, who was staying in a hotel in Haridwar claiming to be the PA of ICC chairman, has been arrested from Kharkhari area.
