KTM Duke 250 Engine and Power

The company has added many new features to this bike but no changes have been made in it. It has a 249.07 cc liquid-cooled LC4C engine, which provides maximum power of 30.57 bhp at 9,250 rpm and torque of 25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, which has a bi-directional quickshifter, which makes gear shifting very smooth and fast.

Look and Design

The look of the new KTM 250 Duke has been made more aggressive and attractive than before to appeal to the youth. It has boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRL) and a new LED headlamp. Apart from this, it now has a colored TFT screen, which replaces the old LCD unit. This display shows all the important information related to the bike as well as provides Bluetooth connectivity, so that riders can connect their headsets and mobile phones to the bike.

Excellent Braking and Suspension

KTM has used a strong steel trellis frame for this bike, which maintains its strength and stability. For suspension, upside-down forks have been provided at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear, which can run well even on rough roads. Talking about the braking system of KTM Duke 250, it gets a 320 mm disc brake at the front and a 240 mm disc brake at the rear. Keeping safety in mind, dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) has been provided, which includes supermoto mode.
