The amount of assistance given to the teachers of secondary schools of the state for the treatment of serious illness has been increased more than three times. Apart from this, the government has also given a big relief for the marriage of the daughters of deceased teachers and increased it from 10 thousand to 1 lakh rupees.

Teachers suffering from serious diseases

On the case of teachers suffering from serious diseases, immediate assistance of 50 thousand will be given within a week with the approval of the minister. After this, additional assistance will also be provided under special circumstances. For this, the applicant will have to give a certificate from the competent officer.

In the order issued by Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar over the Secondary Education Department, it has been said that applications will be taken online for the assistance of such teachers and their dependents. A portal will be created for this. The applications received on this will have to be disposed of within a stipulated time. A three-member committee will be formed for this.
