On the other hand, it is said that soon, the employees can withdraw the money deposited into their PF account through UPI. The report states that the withdrawal system from EPF accounts through UPI will be rolled out in just 3 months.

What will be the benefits after connecting to UPI?

By linking EPF to UPI, the government’s target is to make financial transactions easier, so there is no problem in the claim process. The Financial Express report states that customers can quickly get the claim amount through a digital wallet once registered. In such a situation, the processing time will be reduced.

On the other hand, since UPS was approved, PF employees working in private companies have also demanded a minimum pension increase. PF employees are demanding that their minimum pension amount should be increased soon. Pensioners’ organizations are constantly demanding a minimum pension of Rs 7500.

At present, the minimum pension amount for employees is Rs 1,000. The government announced this in 2014. However, it has not yet been officially confirmed.
