Who can apply
It is important to note that only farmers registered on the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department’s portal will be eligible to purchase these seeds. The Agriculture Department has set the aforementioned retail prices. Furthermore, the government is actively promoting ethanol blending in petrol, which underscores the importance of increasing maize production. Consequently, the subsidy on maize seeds is expected to benefit farmers and enhance domestic production.
