2027 Kawasaki Z650 S – Introduced with new colors, know The Details

2027 Kawasaki Z650 S: Kawasaki has introduced the Z650 S for the 2027 model year with new colour options. This update has been announced for overseas markets, with no major changes to the bike’s technical specifications. The 2027 Kawasaki Z650 S is offered in three new colours. The bike features a 649cc engine, relaxed ergonomics, traction control, and smartphone connectivity. Kawasaki does not retail the Z650 S variant in India; only the standard Z650 is available here. Let’s take a look at the details.

Three New Colors

The 2027 Kawasaki Z650 S has been introduced in three new colour combinations. Among them, the Pearl Blizzard White/Candy Lime Green stands out as the boldest. It features white body panels paired with a green chassis and front fender, giving the bike a distinctive and striking look.

Candy Persimmon Red/Metallic Carbon Grey is the second option, and it also appears quite vibrant. Meanwhile, the Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey colour scheme might appeal more to riders who prefer a subtle, stealthy look.

Z650 S

What sets the Z650 S apart from the standard Z650 is its riding ergonomics. Kawasaki designed it for riders who want a sporty motorcycle but don’t want an overly aggressive riding posture.

In this variant, the footpeg position has been altered to allow for a more relaxed knee angle. It also features a new handlebar that promotes a more upright riding posture. This can be particularly beneficial on long journeys, as it reduces the strain associated with maintaining a constant forward-leaning posture.

649cc Parallel-Twin Engine

The 2027 model retains the Z650 S’s proven 649cc parallel-twin engine unchanged. Kawasaki has not altered the engine specifications. The motor is characterised by its predictable power delivery and strong mid-range performance. Kawasaki added a traction control system in the previous model year. This feature improves stability and controls wheel slip across various riding conditions. As a result, the bike focuses on performance and rider confidence.

4.3-inch TFT Display and Smartphone Connectivity

The Z650 S features a 4.3-inch TFT colour display. Its design and readability offer a more modern experience compared to traditional displays. Additionally, riders can pair their smartphones with the bike via Bluetooth connectivity.

Riders can access information such as notifications and ride statistics using the Kawasaki Rideology app. This means the bike’s digital interface goes beyond merely displaying speed and basic data; smartphone integration ensures a more connected experience for daily use.

Quickshifter

For riders seeking a sportier experience, Kawasaki offers an optional bi-directional quickshifter. This allows seamless gear shifts—both up and down—without using the clutch.
