All Central and State Government pensioners have to submit their life certificate in the month of November every year to continue their pension uninterruptedly. For general pensioners, this window will be open from November 1 to November 30, 2026. However, for senior citizens aged 80 years and above, this process has already started from October 1.
How to submit?
Pensioners can submit their certificates through their bank branches, post offices, digitally through a Digital Life Certificate (DLC), or by availing the doorstep service provided by the Indian Postal Department. Failure to submit the certificate on time may result in pension withholding.
