TCS Q3 Results: Rs 12,380 Crore Profit and Massive Dividend Announced

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) gained a market cap of Rs 46,094 crore in a week and became the second largest company in India with Rs 13.06 lakh crore.

Surge

The BSE Sensex rose 1,134 points and the NSE Nifty 427 points. TCS and Reliance Industries were the biggest reasons for this surge.

The total market cap of 7 of the top 10 companies increased by Rs 2.10 lakh crore. Reliance's market cap increased by Rs 66,985 crore to Rs 16.90 lakh crore.

In 2024, 71.74% of Tata Sons shares were held by TCS. 80% of Tata Sons' dividend income came from TCS.

K Krithivasan (Krithi) is the CEO and MD of TCS since June 2023. Under his leadership, the company has performed brilliantly.

TCS posted a 12% rise in net profit to Rs 12,380 crore in the December 2024 quarter. Revenue stood at Rs 63,973 crore.
