The Bihar government issued notices to 1.50 lakh beneficiaries for not constructing houses, out of which 82,441 have received white and 67,733 have received red notices.

The white notice warns the beneficiaries to build houses as soon as possible, otherwise government action can be taken against them.
White Notice
Red notice is given to those beneficiaries who are not building houses despite repeated warnings. After this, legal action can be taken.

The government has filed a certificate case against 19,495 beneficiaries who did not complete the construction of the house despite receiving the full amount.
Case
Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 1,20,000 is given in plain areas and ₹ 1,30,000 in hilly and inaccessible areas.

The minimum size of the houses provided under the scheme is 25 square meters and all basic facilities are provided.
Housing facilities
60% of the scheme's amount is borne by the central government and 40% by the state government, so that the poor can get a permanent house.
