Snapdragon 8 Elite
We told you that the seven-core Snapdragon 8 Elite is designed specifically for ultra-thin foldable phones. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, said to be 6.4mm thin, could launch with this chipset.
In the past few years Foldable phones are also thinner than ever. The Oppo Find N5 is said to be the thinnest ever. Measuring just 3.7-4mm thick, the phone could be the first device to launch with the 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

You might be surprised to know that Oppo’s Find N5 will be the thinnest foldable phone ever. Measuring 3.7-4mm thick, the phone will be powered by Oppo’s seven-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Qualcomm, OnePlus’ Open 2, which is a nearly twice the size of the Oppo Find N5, is also expected to launch this technology soon.
