In today’s booming smartphone market, the Nokia X30 5G continues to grab attention with its stunning design and clean software experience. But do its price and features make it a good option? Let’s take a closer look at it.
Design and build quality
In terms of design and build quality, the Nokia X30 5G shows its environmental responsibility with its 100% recyclable aluminum frame and 65% recyclable plastic back. The phone’s 185 grams of weight is evenly distributed, and its flat edges and slim design make it easy to hold.
The phone comes in two stunning color options – Ice White and Cloud Blue. The Ice White variant in particular attracts attention due to its frosty finish, which easily keeps fingerprints and dust away. However, there is no cover in the box, only a Type-C cable, SIM ejector pin and documents are included.
The phone is IP67 rated, meaning it is protected against dust and water. Its physical buttons and camera module are also made of recyclable material.
Display and audio quality
This smartphone has a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, which comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. The picture quality of the display is quite great, and it provides an immersive viewing experience due to the thin bezels and small punch-hole camera.
However, the screen brightness may be a bit low for outdoor use. The audio quality is average and lacks stereo output.
Camera setup
Talking about the camera setup, the Nokia X30 has a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. The main camera comes with OIS, which can click good pictures in good light.
The ultra-wide camera offers a 123-degree field of view, but there is some warping at the edges. In night mode, the pictures are detailed but take time to process. The 16MP front camera can also click good selfies.
