The demand for bikes has increased a lot in India and in view of this demand, Triumph is soon preparing to launch its new Thruxton 400 bike in the Indian market. This bike was seen during testing on the roads of India, which has revealed many information about its design and features.
Design of the new Triumph Thruxton 400
The look of the new Thruxton 400 looks quite stylish and premium. Its design looks similar to the Triumph Speed 1200 RR. This bike has an attractive fairing, LED headlights and a large bubble visor. Apart from this, the bike has been given sleek body lines which give it a modern and retro cafe racer look. This bike also has a new tail light design which makes it different from the Speed 400.
Engine and Powerful Performance
This bike will get a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which generates 39.5bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox which will give you a very smooth riding experience. In terms of engine performance, this speed is similar to 400, which can make it a very good option for both highway and city riding.
Modern features and safety
Thruxton 400 is equipped with modern technologies. Talking about some of the major features of this bike, you get to see full-LED lighting in it, which includes headlight, tail light and indicators. In this bike, you have been given ABS anti-lock braking system for better safety. You can also be given a traction control system for high-performance riding experience. In this bike, you have also been given a USB charging port for smartphone charging.
Suspension and Braking System
Thruxton 400 has the same powerful hardware as Speed 400. It has USD front forks, monoshock rear suspension and 17-inch alloy wheels. Talking about the braking system, it has a dual-disc brake setup which gives it better stopping power. The bike will also get dual-channel ABS which will increase safety even more.
