Toyota’s new electric car: The coming time will be for electric vehicles. More new electric vehicles are going to be launched soon. Toyota has also joined this race now. The company is preparing to bring a new electric car to the global market. The new model will be unveiled on March 11.
But the company has already given a glimpse of the design by releasing the teaser of this car. According to reports, the new Toyota EV 2022 is likely to be the production model of the bZ compact crossover concept. This sleek crossover will come in a position below the bZ4X SUV and above the Urban Cruiser EV revealed last year.
Glimpse of design
According to the teaser, a glimpse of the front and rear light clusters of the new model is visible. Takes the shape of a sleek 4-door coupe with a long bonnet and the C-pillar extends to the boot lip at the back. The vehicle has a lip at the rear on the boot lid and a small spoiler has been installed. The tail lamp has an integrated light bar element, while the DRL signature of the headlamp is similar to the bZ concept.
Space and Features
No information has been revealed about the interiors of Toyota’s new electric car, the cabin could be similar to the bZ EVs. It could get a large touch screen which will be at the center of it. This car will come with AWD. Apart from this, it will also come with a dual motor. The new EV is expected to be based on the E-TNGA platform used by the bZ4X. Also, it will be equipped with dual charging ports.

According to reports, Toyota’s new EV can be brought with two battery packs, which will be offered with 49kWh and 61kWh battery packs. It offers a range of up to 400 km on full charge. This car will get 181bhp and 300 NM of torque. It remains to be seen at what price this car will be brought to India and what will be its range.
