Samsung is preparing to roll out the One UI 7 update from April 18, 2025, according to leaks. The first devices to receive the update will be the Galaxy S24 series and Samsung’s new foldables, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6. Since Samsung usually rolls out updates in phases, we can expect mid-range and older devices to get it in the coming months.
Flagship Phones Will Be First to Get One UI 7
Samsung’s flagship phones usually receive major updates first, so we should see the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, and S24 FE receive One UI 7 in the first phase. The Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 should also be among the first to receive the new software. After these, last year’s flagships like the Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip5, and Z Fold5 should get the update in the next phase.
Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A and M Series to Get Update Later
After the flagship phones, the company will probably focus on the mid-range devices. The Galaxy A55, A54, A53, A35, and A34 are some of the most popular mid-range devices. The Galaxy M series like the M55, M54, and M14, as well as the F-series like the F55 and F54 are also likely to get One UI 7. But these could take a few months to roll out once the flagship devices have been updated.
Samsung Has Not Yet Officially Confirmed the Timeline
While leaks give us a rough idea about the rollout, Samsung hasn’t confirmed the One UI 7 update yet. The company usually announces the update schedule a few weeks before the rollout begins, so users should stay tuned for an official announcement from Samsung. According to the leaks, One UI 7 should begin coming out by mid-April 2025, and more devices should get the update in the months to follow.
