JSW MG Motor has launched a new special edition of its small hatchback car MG Comet. It has been named Blackstorm Edition. This is an electric car and with this the company is also going to give you the facility of battery-as-a-service. MG Comet competes with Tata Tiago EV in the market. In such a situation, the Blackstorm Edition will also be premium.

If you buy MG Comet Blackstorm with per kilometer fare instead of paying the price of battery-as-a-service, then its ex-showroom price will be Rs 7.80 lakh. In this, you will have to pay Rs 2.5 per kilometer fare separately for battery-as-a-service. If you want to buy MG Comet Blackstorm by paying the full price, then its ex-showroom price will be Rs 9.81 lakh. In this way, this car will cost you about Rs 13,000 more than the exclusive FC trim of MG Comet. At the same time, with battery-as-a-service, it will cost you Rs 30,000 more.

MG Comet Blackstorm Booking

The company has started booking for MG Comet Blackstorm. For this, you will have to make an initial payment of Rs 11,000. The design of the MG Comet car is quite compact and it is considered a better car for city travel. The company had started the battery-as-a-service facility with its Windsor and it got a good response, so now the company has provided this facility in the special edition of Comet. MG Comet Blackstorm is a new variant of the original car, in which you are given a battery pack of 17.4 kWh. It will give a range of up to 230 km in a single charge.

What’s new in the special edition

The company has launched MG Comet Blackstorm in a starry black exterior paint scheme. The company has given its name logo a dark chrome finish and the internet inside badge has also been given a black paint theme. In this car, you will also get red colour headlines and black finish interior.
