Gold Rate Weekly: The downward trend in gold prices continues across the country. Amidst the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the US, gold prices have been witnessing constant fluctuations—at times dipping, and at other times surging. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures fell by 0.04% to trade at ₹158,400 per 10 grams. On the previous trading day, it had closed at ₹158,466 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹158,399 per 10 grams by the time the market closed on Friday. Since the markets are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, this rate will apply to both days. As for silver, the price in India stands at ₹275,000 per kilogram, down ₹4,900 from yesterday’s rate.
