E-Rickshaw Yojna: Haryana government is going to start another new scheme for the women of Haryana. The name of this scheme is Haryana E-Rickshaw Scheme. Women applying under this scheme are given up to 50% subsidy on buying e-rickshaw.

Objective of the scheme
The main objective of Haryana E-Rickshaw Scheme is to increase the participation of women in society. Even today there are many areas where women are considered inferior to men. To end this thing, the Haryana government has started this scheme. Women applying under this scheme are given up to 50% subsidy by the government on buying e-rickshaw. Under this scheme, the Haryana government is going to spend a total of Rs 692 lakh. Only women will get the benefit of this scheme.
Under this scheme, 400 women from BPL families, 100 widow women, 500 women from other categories can apply. Under this scheme, BPL families and widow women are given up to 50% subsidy on buying e-rickshaws and women of other categories are given 30% subsidy under this scheme. Not only this, women applying under this scheme are also given training to drive e-rickshaws. First come first serve provision has been kept in this scheme.
Who can apply
- Only women native to Haryana can apply under Haryana E-Rickshaw Scheme.
- Women whose family’s annual income is less than one lakh 80 thousand can avail this scheme.
- The annual income of the family of women of other castes should be less than 3 lakhs.
- The age of the applicant woman should be between 18 to 45 years.

- Here the application form has to be read carefully and filled and all the required documents have to be scanned and uploaded.
