Govt Jobs – BPSC Hiring 1711 Assistant Professors, Check Eligibility, Salary & Key Details

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of 1,711 Assistant Professor posts. These appointments will be made in various medical colleges and hospitals across the state, in departments like Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, and more.

Natives of Bihar will get the benefit of all types of reservation. Candidates from other states can also apply, but only under the unreserved category. The last date to apply online is 07 May 2025.

Application Fee

1. The application fee is Rs 100.
2. For SC/ST category candidates of Bihar, women, and Divyang (PWD) candidates, the fee is Rs 25.
3. Payment must be made online.

Qualification

1. Candidates must have an MD/MS/DNB or MDS degree in the relevant subject from a recognised institute.
2. Also, candidates should have three years of work experience as a Senior Resident or Tutor in a recognized medical college.

Salary

Salary will range from Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700.

Age Limit

1. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
2. Age will be calculated based on 01 August 2024.
3. Reserved category candidates from Bihar will get relaxation in the maximum age limit.

6. There will be no written exam.

• Click on “BPSC Online Application”.
• On the next page, click on “New Registration (One Time Registration)”, read the instructions, and click “Close”.
• Fill the registration form carefully.
• After registration, log in using your email/mobile number and password.
• Fill the application form, upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and documents.
• Pay the application fee online and submit the application form.
