This day marks a special conjunction of Uttarashadha and Shravan Nakshatras, which are considered very auspicious for spiritual practice. Nishita Kaal Puja (Most Important Time): 12:37 AM to 1:32 AM (February 16)

First Prahar: 6:11 PM to 9:38 PM

Second Prahar: 9:38 PM to 1:04 AM

Third Prahar: 1:04 AM to 4:31 AM

How to Worship Mahadev? (Step-by-Step Guide)

Sankalp: Take a bath early in the morning, wear clean clothes, and take a vow to fast with water in your hand.

Abhisheka: In the evening (twilight), offer pure water or Ganga water to the Shivalinga.

Offering: Don’t forget to offer Belpatra, Dhatura, Bhang, and white flowers to Lord Shiva.

Chanting Mantras: Continue chanting “Om Namah Shivaya” during the puja.

Katha and Aarti: Listen to the story of the fast and perform Aarti with a ghee lamp at the end.
