Weather Today Forecast: Several states across the country are experiencing severe scorching heat. The extreme heat and intense sunshine have left people in a dire state. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a high probability that warm weather will persist into the night in Western Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh on April 28. In the Delhi-NCR region as well, rising temperatures have compelled people to limit their outdoor movements. The Meteorological Department has indicated a strong likelihood of humid weather prevailing in certain parts of the Konkan region and Kerala on April 28.

Consequently, a warning has been issued urging the public to remain vigilant. During this period, strong winds ranging from 60 km/h to 80 km/h may also occur.

The Meteorological Department has forecast a likelihood of rain in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha.

What will the weather be like in Delhi today?
On April 28, Delhi is expected to experience a dangerous heatwave during the daytime. The maximum temperature in Delhi is projected to reach 40°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 27°C.

What will the weather be like in UP?
A warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for most districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Bijnor, as well as Agra, Mathura, Kanpur, and Lucknow.
During this period, there is also a possibility of thunderstorms with wind speeds up to 70 km/h.

 

Weather Forecast for Himachal?
On April 28–30 and May 3, Himachal Pradesh may witness thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds; snowfall is also possible in some isolated areas. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Shimla, Kullu, Kangra, and Kinnaur. In Manali, a maximum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius is expected on April 28.

Weather Forecast for Punjab

The Meteorological Department has stated that on April 28 and 29, thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds (wind speeds ranging from 50–60 km/h, with gusts up to 70 km/h) are likely to occur across Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.

Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast for April 28–29. Heavy showers may be witnessed in Bikaner, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Sikar, Churu, and Bharatpur. On April 28, the maximum temperature in Jaipur is expected to be 41 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius.
