According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy rainfall across various states of the country. Warning for Heavy Rainfall in These States
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning for light to moderate rainfall has been issued for North India between April 2 and April 5, 2026. Additionally, an alert has been issued for the possibility of hailstorms accompanied by strong winds on April 3 and 4.
According to the IMD, alerts have been issued for rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Furthermore, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall—accompanied by lightning and thunder—in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Western Uttar Pradesh.
Risk of Hailstorms in These Areas
According to the IMD, a rain alert—accompanied by strong winds—has been issued for the states of Central India, valid until April 6. Alerts regarding the possibility of hailstorms have also been issued for several specific locations.
