Prayagraj Road Accident: There is news of a horrific road accident on the Prayagraj-Mirzapur highway. According to the information coming out, 10 people have died tragically in a collision between a car and a bus here. It is being told that the car was going from Chhattisgarh to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh when the accident happened on the Prayagraj-Mirzapur highway under the Meja police station area. Police reached the spot as soon as the information of the accident was received, and the bodies were seized and sent for post-mortem. After this accident, there was screaming and shouting on the spot.

Police officials at the spot said this accident happened on the Prayagraj-Mirzapur highway around midnight on Friday. Here, a Bolero and a bus full of devotees collided head-on. The collision was so strong that the bus and the Bolero car were damaged, and 10 devotees in the Bolero died on the spot. It is said that 19 people on the bus were also injured. According to the information, all these people were going to Varanasi after taking a bath in Sangam when they became victims of the accident.

All the devotees travelling in the bus are residents of the Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. All the injured have been admitted to CHC Ramnagar, where their treatment is ongoing.

After the accident in Prayagraj, a statement has been issued by the CMO. According to this statement, UP CM Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the road accident in Prayagraj district and expressed condolences to the bereaved families. The CM also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
