Monsoon Update – Heavy Rain Warning in These States Due to Western Disturbance, Know Forecast

Monsoon Forecast: The weather is changing drastically. February is considered a crucial month for weather changes. Snowfall is being experienced in the hilly states of North India. Furthermore, cold winds have caused shivering in the lower regions.
The combination of wind and sunshine has kept the weather unchanged for two days. Snowfall is likely again in the hilly areas. A Western Disturbance has once again activated in most parts of North India. Light to moderate rain is expected in the Himalayan regions.
Light rain is also expected in Delhi, as light clouds have been covering the sky since late last night. Inclement weather is also possible in Madhya Pradesh and other states. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted rain in various parts of the country.
Chance of Rain in Delhi
In the past few days, winter has completely departed from Delhi. The bright sunshine has raised the temperature. People are also wearing warm clothes only in the morning and evening. They are making do with shirts and T-shirts during the day.
The IMD predicts rain in Delhi the next day. Rain and strong winds are forecast for February 18th. Very light to moderate rain, thunderstorms with lightning, and strong winds at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour are expected in the afternoon of February 18th.
Rain alert in these districts of MP
According to the IMD, light to moderate rain is expected in Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Datia, Bhind, Gwalior, and Morena in Madhya Pradesh on February 18th. Rain is also expected in Sheopur, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Guna, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Agar Malwa, Ujjain, Indore, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Jhabua, Dhar, and Alirajpur districts. Strong winds are also expected during this period.
Weather in Rajasthan
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for rain in two districts of Rajasthan. Rain and lightning are expected in areas around Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh districts. A western disturbance appears to be active in the state.
Light to moderate rain is expected at many places in Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota divisions, and the Shekhawati region on Wednesday. The IMD has also predicted strong winds with speeds of up to 30-40 kmph in many areas.
Weather conditions in these states
The IMD has predicted no significant change in maximum temperatures in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Goa over the next three days. It will gradually increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next four days. Dense fog is expected in the mornings in Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and some areas of Yanam until February 19th.
