Earthquake Tremors Jolt Lucknow: Earthquake tremors were felt in Lucknow,the capital of Uttar Pradesh,causing panic. Offices and buildings shook,prompting people to rush out of their homes. The earthquake measured 3.7 on the Richter scale.
Fortunately,no loss of life or property has been reported so far. The earthquake’s epicentre was located 10 kilometres underground. It falls under the category of a shallow earthquake.
The day began with earthquake tremors.
Most people were engaged in their daily routines in the morning. Some were preparing to go to their offices,while others were getting ready for school. Suddenly,ceiling fans and windows in buildings started shaking.
People were initially confused,but when the tremors continued,they rushed out of their homes. Tremors were reported from areas of Lucknow,w including Aliganj,Gomti Nagar,Indira Nagar,Alambagh,and Hazratganj.
