New Delhi: The US conducted an airstrike and arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife. Following this, the US operation has become the subject of discussion worldwide. China and Russia have called the US action dictatorial. On the other hand, President Donald Trump has made a significant statement regarding this operation by the US military.
Donald Trump described the mission as the most complex and precise operation ever carried out by the US military. At a press conference in Mar-a-Lago, President Trump said that tremendous American military power was used in this operation. He also stated that the operation was carried out under the cover of darkness to maintain secrecy.

Donald Trump Makes a Big Statement
Donald Trump said that all of Venezuela’s military capabilities were neutralised during the US operation. He said that Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were captured without any American military casualties. He stated that not a single American soldier was killed and no equipment was damaged.
Donald Trump said that Maduro was apprehended while attempting to reach a safe location. He added that the US military acted faster than expected. Maduro has been brought to the US, where he will face charges of narco-terrorism in a federal court.

US Could Launch More Attacks
The US President issued another strong warning to Venezuela, saying that the US could conduct another operation if necessary. US forces are deployed in the region.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Ken, said that “Operation Absolute Resolve” was launched after months of planning and involved coordination between the US military and intelligence agencies. He stated that more than 150 aircraft were deployed from 20 different bases.

The forces were operating at low altitudes to avoid detection. Ken said that helicopters came under fire during the operation, but they returned safely. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth described it as “a very large joint military and law enforcement operation” that was executed flawlessly.
