Due to heavy rains, a cloudburst occurred in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, which has led to a sudden flood. Four people have died after being buried under the debris, while many are missing.

Many houses have also collapsed in the debris brought by the flood, where the administration team has reached the spot. Relief and rescue work are going on at a fast pace. Efforts are also being made to improve the situation.

According to officials, a cloudburst occurred in Jod Ghati village of Rajbagh area of Kathua district on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. Due to this incident, the village lost contact with the rest of the areas and land and properties have been damaged. According to officials, there are also reports of 6 people being injured.
