Ajit Pawar Death Update: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been cremated. Only his memories remain in the hearts of the people. His last rites were performed according to Hindu rituals at the Vidya Pratishthan crematorium in Baramati. A large crowd gathered to pay their last respects.

Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President Nitin Nabin, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and many other leaders from across the country attended his funeral procession. A gun salute was also given. He had died in a chartered plane crash on Wednesday, plunging the people of Maharashtra into deep sorrow.

Plane crash to be investigated

Following the death of the Deputy Chief Minister in a plane crash in Baramati, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has ordered an investigation. All necessary response and investigation mechanisms were activated after the aircraft accident. Officials emphasised the need for a thorough, transparent, and timely investigation. The ministry further stated that the investigation is progressing rapidly and the black box of the crashed aircraft has been recovered.
