The Samsung Galaxy A57’s entry on BIS raises the possibility that Samsung will confirm its launch schedule in the upcoming weeks. Alongside this purported phone, the Galaxy A37 model—which might have better camera and display hardware—may also be released.

A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-A576B/DS, authorized on December 31, 2025, is displayed in the BIS listing. The device will offer dual SIM capabilities, according to by the DS suffix. Samsung’s model numbering pattern indicates that this phone will launch as the Galaxy A57 5G and will be a substitute for the Galaxy A56, even if the certification makes no reference of the marketing name.

We could see the corporation announcing the launch in the upcoming months, as BIS certification usually signifies that a product is nearing an official announcement in India. According to reports, the phone may come in February. 2026, possibly alongside or shortly after the Galaxy S26 series. Now that the Galaxy A57 has been certified, the previous leaks pointing to an early 2026 launch timeline seem more accurate.

Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chipset and Xclipse 550 GPU are expected to be part of the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G. It will probably be a higher-tier mid-range devices with up to 12GB of RAM with Android 16.
