The iPhone 18 Pro series which will launch in the near future has become one of the major topics of discussion within the smartphone industry. Recent reports indicate that Apple will implement significant changes to its high-end iPhone lineup starting from the year 2026 when the company plans to introduce an entirely new Ultra iPhone model together with its existing Pro collection.
The leaks show that Apple is developing major hardware and design improvements for its next iPhone model which will be accompanied by more distinct differences between its standard and premium device versions.
Apple Could Launch an iPhone Ultra Model
Recent reports indicate that Apple plans to release a completely new iPhone Ultra model which will accompany the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max product line. The Ultra model will provide a higher level of sophistication than the Pro Max model which makes it Apple’s most advanced smartphone product to date.
Apple has already applied the Ultra brand to multiple products including the Apple Watch Ultra and Mac chips which makes the existence of an Ultra iPhone model seem more likely. The model will mainly emphasize three key elements which include advanced camera technology and enhanced battery capacity and special high-end functions.

Expected Launch Timeline
Reports suggest that Apple will introduce the iPhone 18 Pro lineup during the second half of 2026 according to the company’s usual practice of launching products at its September event. The company will maintain its schedule of introducing new iPhone models to worldwide markets during its annual autumn hardware showcase.
The launch will present several products which include the basic iPhone 18 version and its Pro models and the Ultra model if Apple decides its premium flagship line.
