According to the website Sacnic, the film has earned around Rs 597.16 crore in India by its 51st day, and is on its way to join the 600 crore club. The total earnings have crossed the figure of Rs 801.35 crore, of which about Rs 710.35 crore has come from the Indian box office and Rs 91 crore from foreign markets.
This film has become the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film and thirteenth highest-grossing Indian film of all time, which is a massive success for Vicky Kaushal’s career.
After the recent violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis questioned this blockbuster film and said that it has again ignited people’s anger regarding Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
