‘Chhava’ OTT Premiere Announced: Wow! After making a splash in theaters, Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ will now come to your mobile and TV screen! This historical film, released on Valentine’s Day, remained at the box office for 50 days, and now it is the turn to dominate the digital world. It is heard that this film can be released on Netflix this week, on April 11.

However, no confirmed news has come from Netflix and the filmmakers yet, but the way the film has had an incredible journey of almost two months in theaters, it seems that it will surely come on OTT and that too soon. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced under the banner of Maddock Films, ‘Chhava’ has also won the title of the highest-grossing Bollywood film in 2025!

Account of earnings of ‘Chhava’:

‘Chhava’ has garnered a lot of accolades not only in the country but also abroad. According to the website Sacnic, the film has earned around Rs 597.16 crore in India by its 51st day, and is on its way to join the 600 crore club. The total earnings have crossed the figure of Rs 801.35 crore, of which about Rs 710.35 crore has come from the Indian box office and Rs 91 crore from foreign markets.

This film has become the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film and thirteenth highest-grossing Indian film of all time, which is a massive success for Vicky Kaushal’s career.

After the recent violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis questioned this blockbuster film and said that it has again ignited people’s anger regarding Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

Public in search of treasure:

The impact of the film was not limited to political corridors only. After watching ‘Chhava’, people searched for treasure near Asirgarh Fort in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh! According to reports, local villagers felt that after watching the film, they might find some hidden gold from the Mughal era.
