India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026 Released: There is good news for candidates awaiting the second merit list for India Post GDS. The Department of Posts has released the second merit list for candidates selected in the recruitment drive for 28,000 *Gramin Dak Sevak* (GDS) positions.

Candidates who applied for these positions can download their merit list via the official website, indiapost.gov.in. As a reminder, the first merit list was released on March 6th. Now, the link for the second merit list has also been activated on the official website. Through this second merit list, recruitment is to be conducted for a total of 28,588 vacancies for *Dak Sevak* posts.

First, visit indiapost.gov.in.
Click on the link titled “GDS Online Engagement Schedule I, January 2026: List II of Shortlisted Candidates.”
The merit list will be displayed on your screen.
Enter your name or registration number.
If your name appears in the list, you will be considered a successful candidate.

What Information Does the Merit List Contain?
This merit list provides several essential details about the candidates, including their Registration Number, Division, Name of the Post Office, Post ID, Name of the Post, Category, and Percentage of Marks obtained. This allows candidates to easily verify their status.
