New Delhi: Did you know that students appearing for the Assistant Teacher (Trained Graduate) Recruitment Examination 2025, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), have received some good news? The UP Public Service Commission has released the preliminary examination results for the subjects of Agriculture & Horticulture, Urdu, Art, and Music, under the Assistant Teacher (Graduate) Recruitment Examination 2025.

A total of 4,243 candidates have qualified across these four subjects. The Music category includes 52 posts in the male branch and 13 posts in the female branch, as well as four posts for ‘Special Teachers’ (for schools for the visually impaired/integrated special secondary schools) under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Consequently, the successful candidates will now have the opportunity to appear for the Main Examination. The examination results are available on the Commission’s official website, where they can be easily checked.

Number of Posts for Which the Examination Was Held

Based on the results of the preliminary examination, a total of 433 candidates have been declared successful for the Main Examination. The examination for the subject of Art—covering 383 posts in the male branch, 195 posts in the female branch, and four posts for Special Teachers under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities—was conducted on January 24. A total of 19,748 candidates were registered for this exam; of these, 9,808 appeared for the test, and 2,854 were declared successful.

For the subject of Agriculture & Horticulture, the vacancies include 14 posts in the male branch and 8 posts for Special Teachers under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. For this subject, 11,753 candidates had registered, out of whom 6,490 appeared for the examination. A total of 224 candidates have been declared successful for the Main Examination. Furthermore, in the examination for the subject of Urdu, out of 8,765 registered candidates, 4,880 appeared for the test, and 732 were declared successful. **Status of the Music Subject**

Regarding the subject of Music, the vacancies include 52 posts in the Male Branch and 13 posts in the Female Branch, along with four posts for ‘Special Teachers’ (specifically for Visually Impaired Schools / Integrated Special Secondary Schools) under the Department for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Meanwhile, a total of 3,729 candidates had registered for this subject, out of whom 1,874 actually appeared for the examination.

According to the Public Service Commission’s website, in certain categories, the requisite number of candidates—specifically 15 times the number of vacancies—could not be found, as they failed to secure the prescribed minimum qualifying marks.

The subject of Agriculture and Horticulture comprises 14 posts in the Male Branch, as well as eight posts for ‘Special Teachers’ under the Department for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
