CBSE Class 12 Sample Paper 2026 Declared:- With only a few days left before the CBSE board exams begin, students don’t have much time to prepare. Several items are prohibited from being brought into the examination centre. Students appearing for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams can bring geometry equipment, such as rulers, compasses, dividers, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners.
It’s worth noting that the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams are scheduled to begin on February 17, 2026, but this time, the CBSE has made significant changes to the way Class 12 answer sheets are evaluated. Now, over 10 million Class 12 answer sheets will be evaluated using a fully on-screen marking system. This means that every page of each answer sheet will be scanned and uploaded to a computer, and teachers will mark the digital copy.
Although there is less than a week left before the exams begin, students are already preparing to achieve good marks. Every year, the CBSE Board releases sample papers to help students better understand the exam. This year, too, sample papers have already been released. It’s worth noting that sample papers are one of the most important resources for board exam preparation.

Students must visit the official website, www.cbse.gov.in.
After clicking on the link on the main website, click on the ‘Board Examinations Section.’
Now, you will see a link to the sample paper. Click on this link.
Then, you will see a link to ‘Sample Papers 2025-26’ on your screen.
After clicking on this link, click on Class 12 and download your sample paper.
A computer lab is mandatory in the school for digital marking.

Why was this change made?
According to CBSE, under the old system, copies had to be transported from one place to another, which was time-consuming and costly. Additionally, there was a risk of errors in totalling. Now, on-screen marking will eliminate all these problems. Checking will be faster, more accurate, and transparent. Teachers will be able to mark from their schools, eliminating the need to travel to evaluation centres. This will not affect their regular studies either.
