CBSE Board Exam 2026 Start today: The Central Board of Secondary Education’s Class 10th and 12th board exams begin today, February 17th. CBSE students have been preparing vigorously for the exams. Students appearing for the CBSE Board Exam 2026 must be especially careful to follow the guidelines before taking the exam. According to the advisory, the CBSE board exams are scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM. Students are advised to reach their exam centres by 10 AM.
Traffic Advisory Issued by Delhi Police
Delhi Police tweeted on the social media platform X, stating that these arrangements have been made to minimise inconvenience, ensure students reach the exam centre on time, and facilitate the AI Summit.
With AI Impact Summit 2026 (Feb 16–20) and CBSE Exams starting February 17, 2026, coordinated measures are in place to minimise inconvenience.

CBSE Board Exams 2026: Exam Day Guidelines
Students appearing for the CBSE board exams are advised to carry their admit cards with them on exam day.
Do not carry electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or Bluetooth devices inside the exam centre.
Candidates will not be allowed to carry any blank paper, exam study material, or any suspicious item inside the exam hall.
Students may only carry a hard copy of their CBSE admit card.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam is over.
Exam Day Schedule
The schedule shows general times that may change slightly depending on the specific subject.
• Entry into the exam centre – Before 10 AM
• No entry allowed – After 10 AM
• Question paper distribution – Around 10:15 AM
• Exam start time – Around 10:30 AM
Documents to Carry
Students must take the following documents to the examination:
• Printed CBSE admit card
• Valid photo ID proof
• Required stationery like a blue or black pen
