Scholarships are available from the State of Uttar Pradesh for students in state schools. UP Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship applications can be updated until February 18. Scholarship applications began on January 14 with a submission deadline of January 21. Applicants were allowed to update their applications until February 13.

The next phase of applying will take place between February 18 and 27. From February 19 through February 27, the National Informatics Center will be rechecking all of the data that was corrected by the applicants. The system will verify that the applicant’s corrections match the institution’s offline verification of the edits, and if there are still any mismatches, the correct application may be flagged again.

The District Scholarship Committee is expected to complete final verification by March 10 and lock the data. No corrections will be allowed once locked. Tentatively, Direct Benefit Transfer will be used to pay for all approved applications beginning March 18.

Required Documents

Students are advised not to wait for the deadline and complete all formalities well in advance. The application form must be accompanied by an Aadhaar card, a copy of the bank passbook, previous class marksheet, income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and a passport-size photograph. It’s also important to ensure that the bank account is linked to Aadhaar and that there are no errors in the student’s name, as incorrect information may prevent the scholarship amount from being credited to the account.

Scholarships will be transferred directly to students’ bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Therefore, students should exercise caution when applying and fill in all details correctly. The government’s goal is to ensure eligible students receive timely assistance and allow them to continue their studies without financial stress.
