UP Budget 2026 Date Announced – CM Yogi to Present State Budget on Feb 11; Focus on Youth, Jobs and 2027 Elections

UP Budget 2026: The date for the Uttar Pradesh government’s budget has been announced. The Yogi government of UP will present the budget in the Legislative Assembly on February 11th. It is being said that this budget will have many special provisions for the common people. The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin on February 9th, and the budget will be presented on February 11th. Before that, on February 9th, the Governor will give an address. Following this, on February 10th, condolences will be offered for the demise of members of the Legislative Assembly.

The UP Assembly elections will be held in 2027, which the Yogi government will certainly keep in mind. Suresh Khanna stated that the 2026-27 financial budget will be presented on February 11th. The budget session will begin with an address by Governor Anandiben Patel.

Major Announcements Before the Assembly Elections
The public has high expectations of the Yogi government in this election year. Therefore, there is speculation that the UP government may give several major gifts to the public before the 2027 Assembly elections. The Uttar Pradesh government presented a budget of ₹8.08 lakh crore in the financial year 2025-26. This was 9.8 per cent more than the previous year. In last year’s budget, the Yogi government focused on technological development, education, health, agriculture, and several other areas.

Government’s Focus on Employment
This time, the UP government’s budget may focus more on education and employment. The UP government may focus most on the youth. The youth and student community are already showing resentment regarding the UGC law. In such a situation, the government may make every effort to win them over. The UP government had allocated a budget of ₹1,06,360 crore for education in the last financial year.

30 Proposals Approved?
30 proposals were approved in the Yogi cabinet meeting. Through this meeting, teachers, Shiksha Mitras (para-teachers), and cooks received the significant benefit of cashless medical treatment facilities. In fact, this is a major strategy of the Yogi government, as the upcoming graduate teacher MLC elections approach. Before these elections, they have given a significant gift to teachers, Shiksha Mitras (para-teachers), and cooks by providing them with cashless medical treatment facilities.

Budget for the year 2026-27 presented
On February 11, the Finance Minister will present the budget for the financial year 2026-27 in the Legislative Assembly. The entire state is watching this budget closely. The budget will focus particularly on development, employment, education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, and law and order.
